1. Overview

AIbubu (hereinafter "the App") is a desktop pet application that visualizes your AI coding tool usage. We take user privacy seriously, and this policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

2. Information Collection

The App runs entirely on your local machine. No personal data is sent to any remote server. Specifically:

• Activity data: The App detects local processes to determine the usage status of AI development tools (e.g. Cursor, Claude Code). This data is stored only on your device and is never uploaded.
• Steps and history: Daily step counts, active duration, and other statistics are saved in local storage only.
• User settings: Nickname, theme preference, selected character, and other configurations are saved locally.
• LAN social: When LAN features are enabled, your nickname, step count, and character info are broadcast within the local network to other users. This data never leaves your LAN.

3. Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device, including:

• App configuration (localStorage)
• Step history (local files)
• Imported custom characters (local folders)

After uninstalling the App, related data will be removed along with the app data directory.

4. Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No cookies are used, and no user tracking is performed.

5. Permissions

The App may request the following system permissions:

• File system access: For importing and managing custom character files.
• Network access: Used only for LAN device discovery and social features.
• Auto-start: Optional feature that allows the App to launch at system startup.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If this privacy policy is updated, we will publish the latest version on this page and update the date. We recommend checking periodically.
